How to become a member

Pastor Olu and the Elders of House of Praise welcome everyone who responds to invitations to become members. Each person that responds to this invitation is encouraged to attend a 1-1 "get to know who we are" and a after few weeks "a membership class" followed by a six weeks course: "Foundation” taught by Pastor Olu or a delegated leader.

Upon completion of this class, your decision to join membership of The House of Praise is recorded and certificate given.  The Foundation and Membership course includes six sections covering, the DNA of House of Praise, Salvation, The Bible, Prayer, Fellowship, and Witnessing.

Membership is for those who have found House of Praise to be their church home. Our members believe that God has called them to share in the mission of making authentic disciples for Jesus in the Seattle and its environs. The purpose of membership is to help us know who we can depend on and to help individuals grow spiritually through commitment and accountability.

We welcome you to The House of Praise, where people are transformed to transform the world with the Love of Jesus Christ one person at a time!

CONNECTION OPPORTUNITIES:

•SUNDAY SERVICES - Each Sunday, our services are designed to meet you in a relevant and meaningful way. Our goal is to give you tools that will help you live purposefully and impact the lives of others. There will always be worship, a message; however, we also incorporate things like baby dedications, baptisms, communion, drama and videos periodically. We have intentionally designed our church and services in a way to provide a safe place to bring family and friends
•HOP CAFÉ - Every Sunday morning after each service we provide snacks and coffee as a way for you to stay and get to know others.
•CONNECT AND MEET  - In an informal atmosphere we often provide an opportunity for you to get to know the church pastors; find out what’s happening in the church, find out what we believe and to ask questions you might have, which usually happen every week after the service.
•SUNDAY OPEN HOUSE - This is an opportunity to connect with one another in specifically designated homes where each person will be able to interact in a meaningful way and build relationships with members of the church.
•MEET WITH THE SENIOR PASTORS  - Once a month, this is an opportunity to meet informally with the Senior Pastors, to get to know them and for them to answer your questions.
